Lagen Island, in El Nido, Palawan, is the 12th pit stop of Season 5 of The Amazing Race. Our weary racers rested in the resort located at the cove (the bright blue spot) to the northwest end of the island. The resort is part of the world-class El Nido Resorts which operates Lagen Island Resort and Miniloc Island Resort, both located in Bacuit Bay.

Unfortunately, there’s currently no way to pinpoint the other El Nido locations used in The Amazing Race. Lagen Wall, the sheer limestone cliffs the racers had a Road Block on is likely somewhere on the island itself. But we don’t know where the giant clam shell cove is and where the three flagged beaches are.

Update (2009): parts of El Nido now have high-resolution satellite imagery in Google Maps so we can now clearly see Lagen Island Resort itself!
