This year’s summer is turning out to be quite hot and I am sure many of us wish we could go to a secluded beach resort like Miniloc Island Resort (official website) to refresh and relax. This high-end resort is part of the world-class El Nido Resorts which is operated by the Ten Knots Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Ayala Land. I’ve actually featured another El Nido Resort almost five years ago and this is the Lagen Island Resort.
Obviously, Miniloc Island resort is located on Miniloc Island in El Nido, Palawan. The resort is specifically located in a small cove on the eastern side of the island and there are 50 rooms or villas available for accommodations. Seven of these are water cottages built on stilts above the sea, and you can see them on the southern side of the satellite imagery. Five are seaview cottages that are also on stilts. (I believe these are the structures on the northernmost end of the resort.) The rest are on land.
Miniloc Island Resort, like most other resorts, also provide lots of entertainment and activities to make the most of your visit. The resort has the requisite spa for massages and wellness. You can go scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, hobiecat sailing, or windsurfing. Or you can go island hopping among the numerous islands and islets of El Nido and eat lunch on a white sand beach somewhere. The resort actually has “exclusive” beaches on Entalula and Dibuluan islands that only resort guests can visit.
