White Beach, Boracay

It’s time to explore the low-res world now and see what interesting places there are to see (at least from a satellite) in the Philippines. First up is the famous White Beach in Boracay Island. This 3-kilometer stretch of white sand is arguably the most desired vacation spot among Filipinos. At day, you get to sunbathe on the powdery sands or sail on one of the numerous paraws. At sunset, the beaches transform into party places where you can dance the night away.

Since we don’t have hi-resolution imagery of the island, we couldn’t point out notable hotspots like Cocomanga’s, Friday’s, Club Panoly, and the Pearl of the Pacific. But the white beach is clearly visible from Google Local, as are the par-72 golf links over at Fairways and Bluewater Resort in the northern half of the bone-shaped island.
